You will oversee daily airfreight import operations, ensure full compliance with HMRC / BF and ETSF regulations, and foster a high‑performance, collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, motivate, and support a small airfreight operations team to deliver work to high standards.
• Coach, mentor, and train team members, including regulatory and internal procedure updates.
• Allocate and oversee daily workloads and ensure operational cover during holidays and sickness.
• Conduct daily and weekly team meetings and elevate issues to management when required.
• Promote a proactive, solutions‑driven, and collaborative team culture.

Operational Management

• Manage airfreight import shipments end‑to‑end.
• Ensure compliance with ETSF procedures and HMRC / BF regulations.
• Monitor arrivals, trigger points, discrepancies, amendments, and claims.
