Qualifications

  • Solid experience in ocean imports & exports is essential.
  • Air experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable maintaining customer relationships and key accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commercially savvy with pricing and invoicing experience.
  • Highly organized and dependable.
  • Full, clean driver's license for client meetings.

We've partnered with a long-standing client; a business that’s grown massively in recent years, where relationships, reliability and trusted delivery are key.

They’re looking for an Import / Export Account Manager to join their fantastic team in Greater Manchester. The role suits someone that’s confident and has a commercial mindset. You’ll maintain and develop a portfolio of import and export accounts, with ocean freight at the heart of the role.

About You
  • You've got solid experience in ocean imports & exports (essential)
  • Air experience would be a huge plus
  • You're comfortable maintaining customer relationships and key accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, collaborating with people at all levels
  • Commercially savvy with previous pricing and invoicing experience
  • It goes without saying that you're highly organised, dependable and happy to roll your sleeves up as and when needed
  • Full, clean drivers licence for occasional client meetings (pool car provided)
