Qualifications

  • Experience working with young people with SEND.
  • An understanding of effective interventions and the use of data to measure impact.
  • Additional SEND training or experience with provision mapping tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver 1:1 and small-group SEND interventions.
  • Support students in lessons and around the school site.
  • Contribute to the Assess-Plan-Do-Review process and monitor progress.
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and external professionals.
  • Support teachers with planning, resources, and SEND documentation.
  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and safety across the school.
