A local health authority in Essex is seeking a public health focused nurse or healthcare professional to deliver immunisations in schools and community clinics. Responsibilities include managing immunisation programmes, ensuring effective communication, and fostering teamwork. Candidates must have valid healthcare registration, a UK driving license, and previous immunisation experience. The role offers a competitive salary of £31,049 to £37,796 pro rata with various employee benefits.
We are looking for a public health focused nurse, midwife or other healthcare professional to join our friendly and supportive team in Essex. The team work across the county providing immunisations in schools and community settings, including BCG and Hepatitis B programmes.

Main duties of the job
Delivering immunisations across Essex to children and young people in schools and to all age groups in community clinics.
We are passionate about protecting children and young people\'s health through vaccination.

The role will require the successful candidates to travel and so you must hold a full valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

The Immunisation Nurse is responsible for the delivery of the Immunisation Programmes as delegated by the Team Lead.
