As an Immigration Solicitor / Lawyer you will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal advice and representation, supporting individuals and families navigating the UK immigration system.

Working independently, the Immigration Solicitor / Lawyer will manage their own varied caseload, covering matters from visa applications and settlement to appeals and asylum claims.

DUTIES
  • Providing Immigration Advice: Advising clients on entry clearance, leave to remain, indefinite leave to remain, nationality, asylum, and appeals
  • Case Management: Managing a varied immigration caseload from instruction through to conclusion
  • Application Preparation: Preparing and submitting applications to the Home Office and relevant tribunals
  • Client Liaison: Communicating professionally with clients, courts, and external agencies
  • Compliance and Records: Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring compliance with firm procedures
  • Collaborative Working: Working closely with colleagues and contributing to business development initiatives
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Qualified Solicitor with previous experience in immigration law
  • Strong knowledge of UK immigration legislation and case law
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A client-focused approach with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes
  • Accreditation under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme (desirable)
