My client, based in Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their Immigration Team on a permanent basis.
Benefits:

  • Salary up to £26,000 dependant on experience
  • Hours - Monday – Thursday 09:00am to 17:30pm and Friday 09:00am to 17:00pm
  • Location - Sheldon
  • 33 Days holiday - Pro Rota (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Draft and review legal documents
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status and requests for additional information
  • Prepare and submit visa applications with the appropriate government agencies
  • Research and review immigration laws and regulations
  • Organise case files and maintain the firm's case management system
  • Attend client meetings, take instructions and assist with client intake

Skills & Experience required

  • 2 years’ experience working in immigration law either as a Paralegal or Newly qualifiedsolicitor.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software such as LexisNexis or Westlaw
  • Have a passion for immigration law
  • Willing to be office based
