Responsibilities

• Develop long‑term relationships with clients based on trust and professionalism
• Develop SG profile in the market through trading volumes and market presence, enhancing individual and team reputation amongst clients as a reliable market maker
• Further improve SG market share and reputation through professionalism, discipline and attention to risks
• Provide reliable backup and support as required for other traders within the team
• Develop and maintain strong relations with internal stakeholders (Sales, Global Finance, Syndicate, Research, Compliance, Middle/Back office, IT, Risk etc.)
• Work in partnership with other teams to communicate market flows, trade ideas and any relevant trading information to support revenue generation
• Pricing and execution on behalf of SG clients ensuring all procedural guidelines, risk controls and product governance are observed
• Develop trading strategies and work with sales to develop pricing models as required
• Review and oversee optimisation of capital and leverage costs

Profile Required

• Direct experience in a credit trading role with proven market‑making track record allied to development of client relationships
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact and communicate convincingly at all levels with key decision makers in a variety of business lines, management and control functions across the Bank
• Proven ability to develop relationships based on trust and professionalism
• Able to work independently on multiple conflicting priorities and under pressure until completion
• Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for numbers and attention to detail
• Solutions focused, service‑oriented and proactive
