A leading UK bank is seeking an IAM Engineer to develop, implement, and support IAM solutions. This hybrid role requires strong experience with IAM, particularly IBM tools. Business Unit: Technology Operations & Cyber Security
Salary Range: £40,800 to £51,000 per annum DOE
Location: UK Hybrid – Work from anywhere in the UK, with flexibility to occasionally visit Glasgow or Gosforth HUB.

The Security Engineering team is part of Technical Operations and Cyber Security within Virgin Money and we maintain the Bank's Security tools & applications. Our aim in Security Engineering is to cultivate unwavering trust in our products and services by engineering resilient security solutions that protect our users and customers from evolving threats. You will be a key part of a dynamic team supporting the organisation's Identity Management (IM) environment. Working closely with both internal colleagues and external 3rd parties, you will be responsible for ensuring change in this area is managed and controlled effectively.
Our work is highly specialised, so while we do not expect you to have all the required skills, you will be expected to drive your own development. Your core skills will be enhanced through self‑study, paired learning and practical experience, and we will support you with formal training and mentoring as required.

If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre‑employment checks – we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
