A leading hygiene services provider in the UK is seeking a Hygiene Operative with experience in food manufacturing. You will lead a team of Hygiene Operatives, ensure cleaning tasks are completed, and promote Health & Safety practices. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and able to work flexible shifts.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Hygiene Operatives.
• Ensure all daily and periodical cleaning tasks are completed to schedule.
• Complete and sign off hygiene records and cleaning documentation.
• Carry out visual inspections and swabbing as required.
• Conduct stock checks and report items required for ordering.
• Step up to cover Hygiene Supervisor duties when needed.
• Support training of staff on hygiene procedures and standards.
• Promote excellent Health & Safety and Food Safety practices at all times.

• Previous experience working in a Hygiene role within a food manufacturing environment.
• Able to lead and motivate a team.
• Organised, reliable, and able to work to high standards.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to work across shifts when required.
• Basic IT skills.
