Overview

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Hydrographic Survey Manager to join our clients expanding team and drive operational excellence and quality assurance processes.

If you have a solid background in hydrographic surveying across multiple disciplines and proven leadership skills in managing a team, this could be the perfect role for you. While primarily office-based, some site work may occasionally be required. The opportunity is based within 45 minutes drive of Glasgow.

  • Plan and execute projects, determining the best approach for surveys.

  • Manage project delivery while maintaining resource optimisation and QA compliance.
  • Resolve operational and technical issues independently or with appropriate support.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the survey team, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Coordinate training and development activities through performance management.
  • Assist the management team in preparing tenders and PQQ documents.
  • Support audits to ensure adherence to HS&E and quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure seamless coordination on multidisciplinary projects.
