A major financial institution based in Greater London seeks a seasoned Business Analyst with extensive knowledge in Sanctions regimes, including OFAC, UN, EU, and UK regulations. In this hybrid role, you will lead the process design and re-engineering for global Sanctions processes, ensure compliance, and manage critical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving transformation initiatives within financial environments, aiming to mitigate Financial Crime risk while supporting the Sanctions Change Delivery agenda. Qualifications

  • Expert-level understanding of global Sanctions regimes (OFAC, UN, EU, UK).
  • Proven Business Analyst experience in major Sanctions Change/Transformation Programmes.
  • Hands-on experience in process mapping and designing efficient Sanctions operating models.
  • Ability to articulate main methods for Sanctions checking.

Responsibilities

  • Provide domain knowledge to ensure solutions meet Sanctions requirements.
  • Take ownership of process mapping and design for Sanctions processes.
  • Elicit and document business requirements for key Sanctions systems.
  • Manage complex stakeholders to secure buy-in for process changes.
  • Analyse risks associated with sanctions breaches and translate them into requirements.
  • Support the Sanctions Change Delivery VP in executing workstreams.
