A global leader in access solutions is seeking a QA/Test Engineer to support product verification and validation. This hybrid role is based in Cardiff, allowing 2 remote days per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in software testing for embedded products and proficiency in object-oriented programming languages. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of related industry experience.
• Strong foundation in test/software engineering for embedded products.
• Experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain test methodologies and tools.
• Construct and execute test plans and document results.
• Analyze and collect metrics on defects to drive improvements.
• Work closely with Software/Firmware Development teams.
