Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Functional Assessor (Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist) for a hybrid role. You will conduct assessments to support the DWP, work collaboratively with a team, and enjoy structured hours with no evenings or weekends. Qualifications

  • You must hold an active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience within the UK is essential.
  • Experience in functional assessment or clinical decision-making is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations for PIP assessments.
  • Analyse clinical information and medical evidence to produce reports.
  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance clinical knowledge.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong IT skills (minimum typing speed 35 WPM)
Ability to multi-task and make objective, evidence-based decisions

Education

Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist
Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
Active NMC or HCPC registration
