Job summary

A leading financial services firm is seeking a GCP DevOps Engineer to architect and maintain cloud-native infrastructure that supports high-performance AI systems. The role requires designing scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and developing CI/CD pipelines. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with GCP services, containerization using Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes. This is a full-time position based in London, with a mix of office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Cloud Storage, etc.).
• Proficient in scripting with Python or Bash.
• Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools like Google Cloud Build and Jenkins.
• Proven experience with Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus.
• Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for secure deployments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Set up monitoring and alerting for critical AI services.
