Job summary

A leading housing developer is seeking an experienced Development Project Manager to manage a portfolio of development projects in Warrington, England. This 14-month fixed-term role offers a hybrid working model, with 1–2 days per week in the office and the remainder split between site visits and home office. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience in affordable housing, financial acumen, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in development project management within affordable housing or similar environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the development process, grant funding, and Homes England regulations.
  • Experience with budget management and scheme appraisal.

Responsibilities

  • Manage development projects through their lifecycle from appraisal to completion.
  • Prepare and present financial appraisals with the finance team.
  • Deliver schemes on time and within budget, achieving performance indicators.
  • Lead engagement with stakeholders including consultants and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements and development policies.
  • Identify opportunities for value improvement and efficiency.
  • Manage risks and uphold health, safety, and equality principles.
