Job summary

A healthcare organization in Rainham is seeking a Band 4/5 Cost Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. This hybrid role involves supporting the development of Patient Level Costing and maintaining the Trust’s costing system. Ideal candidates will have an AAT qualification or be working towards it, along with a good understanding of finance principles and proficiency in Excel. This position offers training for those lacking NHS finance experience.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or currently working towards qualification.
• Good working knowledge of IT systems, particularly Excel.
• Previous finance experience in an NHS environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of Patient Level Costing by ensuring necessary data is captured.
• Model, develop and maintain the Trust’s costing system.
