A leading energy company in the UK seeks an HVDC & FACTS System Study Engineer to design and lead compliance for the electricity transmission system. As a HVDC & FACTS System Study Engineer you'll lead the design of the electricity transmission system, ensuring optimum system design issues on NGET's transmission network. Working closely with suppliers, supporting compliance assessments to ensure that they can connect to the transmission network. You'll be involved in new technologies (HVDC and FACTS) discussions and specifications including innovation projects related to renewables and new technologies. You'll contribute to a variety of HVDC and FACTS modelling and studies, including dynamic analysis, fault analysis, RMS and EMT simulations, as well as dynamic performance studies (DPS) and control interaction assessments to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements. Your role will also involve safeguarding the integrity and reliability of the network for HVDC and FACTS connections, ensuring continued operability and safety.

A competitive salary between £61,000 - £75,000 dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
