Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Work across commercial and industrial sites servicing air conditioning systems.
  • Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance including emergency call-outs.
  • Complete statutory PPMs in line with SFG20.

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established facilities management company in their search for a HVAC Engineer to work in Manchester

HVAC Engineer - Job Details:
  • Pay: Up to £40,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Company Car/Van (for personal use), fuel card, £150 float, Trade Card, regular company socials, £750 staff referral scheme, birthday voucher, 5.7% employer pension contribution, 31 days holiday including bank holidays (rising to 33 after 5 years), and Company Sick Pay Scheme
Job Role:

The HVAC Engineer will work across commercial and industrial sites servicing air conditioning systems. This mobile role covers the North West and North Wales, focusing on fault finding, service, maintenance and breakdown of HVAC systems. You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across various systems including Splits, VRVs, VRFs, AHUs and Heat Pumps. Duties also include emergency call-outs, completing statutory PPMs in line with SFG20, recording all works electronically and managing subcontractors as needed.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in the HVAC sector with planned and reactive maintenance
  • Facilities Management experience
  • Technical expertise in HVAC equipment including Splits, VRVs, VRFs, AHUs
  • Skilled in service, maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting and breakdowns
  • Category 1 F-Gas qualification (current and valid)
  • Full UK driving licence
