Job summary

A leading global EPC firm requires an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer / Senior Authorised Person to join their team in Royston. The role involves coordination of electrical commissioning, managing vendor personnel, and ensuring compliance with project standards. Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience in high-voltage operations, relevant certifications, and strong documentation skills. This is a 12-month contract position outside IR35, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on exciting projects.

Qualifications

• Certified at to 11 Kv.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in electrical commissioning and/or high-voltage operations.
• Senior Authorised Person (SAP) certification for HV systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the installation contractor for the handover of completed electrical works.
• Manage and supervise vendor personnel during commissioning activities.
• Witness and/or execute testing of electrical equipment to ensure compliance.
