Qualifications

Overview

Community Academies Trust is seeking a Human Resources Officer to join our forward-thinking central HR team. Based at our head office in Tamworth, this is a fantastic opportunity to work across a diverse and growing multi academy trust, supporting schools and leaders to deliver outstanding outcomes for pupils.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert HR advice to senior leaders across our schools. Lead on employee relations, casework, and organisational change.
  • Drive recruitment campaigns and workforce planning.
  • Support strategic initiatives in wellbeing, EDI, pay & grading, and talent development.
  • Ensure compliance with safer recruitment and Single Central Record (SCR) standards.
  • Deliver impactful training and contribute to policy development.
What we're looking for / Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience - or a willingness to work towards it (we'll support you!)
  • Proven HR advisory experience, ideally in a regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practice.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, solution focused mindset with a passion for people.
