People Operations Coordinator

Location: London

Contract: FTC

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage People administrative processes, including generating contracts, background checks, and system set-up
  • Maintain accurate employee records on our HR system, ensuring compliance with GDPR and employment legislation
  • Prepare letters, contracts, and ad hoc documents
  • Coordinate ad hoc out-of-cycle payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Ensure timely updates to our HR system
  • Assist with payroll preparation by ensuring all changes are captured and processed
  • Manage regular reporting for the People team – including weekly starters/leavers and work anniversaries reports
  • Be the first point of contact for employee queries, escalating where needed
  • Manage first day right to work and other compliance checks
  • Assist with ad hoc people reporting, dashboards, and audits

Essential

  • Previous experience in a People Team or strong administrative background
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A proactive and approachable attitude with a genuine interest in People/HR

Desirable

  • Experience with Workday and payroll
  • Experience with business process dashboards
  • Exposure to immigration processes and right-to-work compliance
  • Experience supporting L&D or training programmes
  • Understanding of UK employment law and compliance requirements
