A respected UK recruitment agency is seeking an HR Team Leader to join a well-regarded law firm in Birmingham. The role involves leading the HR administration team and overseeing onboarding and employee processes. Ideal candidates will have significant HR leadership experience and hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification. This hybrid position offers a salary of £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.

HR Team Leader responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the HR Administration team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations
  • Oversee onboarding, pre-employment checks, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Act as escalation point for HR queries and third-party screening providers
  • Work closely with payroll, recruitment, and HR business partners to streamline processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR systems, workflow, and service delivery

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven HR operational or team leadership experience within professional services
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (Level 7 desirable)
  • Strong working knowledge of HR systems and compliance processes
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
