Roles / Responsibilities
- Deliver a proactive, compliant HR service aligned with business values and objectives
- Coach and support managers on performance management, employee relations, and policy application
- Guide managers through consistent, competency‑based recruitment processes
- Manage sickness absence and collaborate with occupational health providers
- Oversee training and development initiatives, ensuring compliance and capability growth
- Maintain accurate employee lifecycle records and ensure GDPR compliance
- Provide data‑driven HR insights and reports to inform business decisions
- Manage and enhance the HRIS system for optimal efficiency
Qualifications
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven ability to foster trust and support across all levels of the business
- Confident, adaptable, and hands‑on HR professional with strong influencing skills
- Experienced in HRIS systems, including implementation and ongoing management
- Skilled in operational HR support with attention to detail in data and reporting
- In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Experience working with apprentices and providers is advantageous
Benefits
- Part‑time role: 30 hours / week across Monday to Friday (mostly on‑site)
- Salary up to £52,000 FTE (based on 40 hours / week), DOE
