Human Resources Manager / HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

This role will act as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership, supporting people management, compliance, engagement, and talent initiatives across the business.

This position plays a critical role in shaping HR strategy while remaining hands‑on across core HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, recruitment, and HR systems. With continued growth across the organization, the HR function is expanding to support a dynamic, multi‑site workforce.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior leadership, supporting people strategy, employee relations, and day‑to‑day HR matters.
  • Lead core HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Oversee compensation processes, performance reviews, and HR compliance, including FLSA and employment regulations.
  • Manage HR systems, reporting, and key metrics to support leadership decision‑making.
  • Drive cultural, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of HR experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
  • Strong generalist background across employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HR systems and HRIS platforms preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to operate confidently at leadership level.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
