Overview

My client within the Professional Services sector have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development People Partner to join their team on a permanent basis.

Location: you can be based anywhere within England, with travel across a variety of sites around the UK once or twice a month. Locations include but not limited too: Birmingham, Bristol, London, Redditch, Sheffield. 12 locations span from London, Bristol right up to Glasgow.

Headcount: 800 employees.

Salary: Up to £50,000 PA.

Learning and Development People Partner The Role:

As a Learning and Development People Partner, you ll play a key role in strengthening the organisation s learning culture and enabling our people to grow, thrive, and contribute at their best. This is a high-impact role where you ll partner with stakeholders across the business to understand development needs and deliver tailored, high-quality learning solutions.

You ll be based in the Midlands with regular travel to other UK offices, working in close collaboration with our wider People team to design, implement, and evaluate development initiatives that support capability, performance, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships across the business to understand development needs and provide effective learning solutions that support team and organisational goals.
  • Design and deliver engaging training both face-to-face and virtually on topics such as leadership development, personal effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Support key learning programmes including induction, professional development, and talent pathways.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers, helping them build high-performing teams through coaching, feedback, and development planning.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal HR colleagues to ensure content is relevant, high-quality, and aligned to business needs.
  • Use data and feedback to assess learning impact and continuously improve offerings.
  • Contribute to the development of a consistent and inclusive learning experience across all locations.
You
  • Proven experience in a Learning & Development, People Partner, or HR Development role, ideally within a professional or consultancy environment.
  • Strong facilitation and delivery skills, with experience leading both in-person and virtual sessions.
  • A consultative mindset with the ability to diagnose needs and create impactful solutions.
  • Confidence in engaging with senior leaders and stakeholders across functions.
  • Knowledge of contemporary learning practices, including digital tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-site organisation.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) in Learning & Development or Organisational Development.
  • Coaching qualification or relevant experience.
  • Experience working in regulated or professional services environments
