Overview

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be working exclusively with a Portsmouth based organisation for the recruitment of a HR Business Partner on a 6 month interim basis. Reporting to the Head of HR and supporting approximately 400 employees across multiple sites, this role will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, driving people strategy, talent initiatives, and employee engagement during a period of change and growth.

What will the HR Business Partner role involve?
  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to development, engagement, and retention.
  • Manage employee relations case loads, advising managers on complex matters and ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and onboarding to attract and retain talent.
  • Deliver engagement and inclusion programmes, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead and support HR projects, systems implementation, reporting tools and process improvement initiatives.
Suitable candidate for the HR Business Partner vacancy:
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience within a fast paced, operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience as a trusted partner to leadership teams with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Able to adapt in a fast-paced, high-performing business environment.
