Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a highly respected not for profit organisation to recruit a HR Associate.

Location and salary

Location: Coventry (after passing 6 month probationary period a Hybrid model will be introduced 60% office-based)

Salary: Up to £36,500 depending on experience

The Role

This position will take the lead on day to day HR operations and staff development, making sure colleagues are supported, valued, and equipped to succeed. You\'ll be responsible for managing people processes across the entire employee journey while also playing an active role in creating an inclusive, positive workplace culture. With involvement in wellbeing, training, and equity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the full range of HR processes, from recruitment and induction through to payroll, attendance, and leavers.
  • Coordinating staff learning and development programmes, with a strong emphasis on inclusion and equality.
  • Providing guidance to managers on performance, employee relations, and day to day HR queries.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
  • Contributing to initiatives that strengthen employee wellbeing and engagement across the organisation.

You\'ll bring strong HR knowledge, great organisational ability, and the confidence to guide managers on both everyday processes and more people-focused matters. With a balance of empathy and problem-solving, you\'ll build trusted relationships and provide support to colleagues across the organisation.
