A prominent healthcare organization in York seeks an organized and proactive HR Administrator. Main Duties of the Role
Provide efficient and effective administrativesupport to the HR department
Support HR strategies, systems and processes tomaintain positive employee relations
Administer the full recruitment lifecycle,including advertising roles, arranging interviews, preparing contracts andcompleting timely employment checks
Deliver a high-quality induction process for newstarters by coordinating system access, paperwork and communication withinternal teams
Support the appraisal process by promptingmanagers, collating paperwork and updating the Appraisal Tracker
Provide administrative support for payroll
Maintain DBS checks, safeguarding and CQCcompliance, including renewals and mandatory training updates
Keep personnel records up to date using PracticeIndex and maintain the personnel filing system
Promote and help nurture a positive workingenvironment
Support the review and updating of jobdescriptions, person specifications and HR policies
Maintain Practice Index records includingsickness, annual leave, compassionate and unpaid leave
Communicate staff changes (new starters,leavers) in the Staff Data Bulletin
Support staff training requirements and maintainthe staff handbook
Assist with sickness absence meetings, supportplans and return-to-work documentation
Manage uniform and name badge orders,maintaining accurate records
Order and replace NHS Smartcards as required
Attend site meetings as necessary
Update and maintain Workforce Census data
Support and help coordinate staff events andtraining sessions
Monitor new starters probation reviews and flagconcerns or required extensions
Review RTW documentation and elevate whereneeded
Always maintain confidentiality andprofessionalism
Ensure secure and timely destruction ofpersonnel files and recruitment documents in line with guidelines
Manage parking permit processes, refunds andrenewals
Oversee the ordering, payments and restocking ofDoctors Bags for trainee inductions
Undertake any other reasonable duties asrequired
