HR Assistant

Main responsibilities for the HR Assistant:
- Act as a point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and professional support to employees, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, inductions, probation reviews, and offboarding activities.
- Support recruitment processes by drafting job adverts, managing applications, coordinating interviews, and conducting pre-employment checks (e.g., right-to-work and references).
- Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, offer letters, policy updates, and employee correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and compliant HR records, ensuring all data is managed in line with GDPR and internal policies.
- Plan and organise HR-related activities including training sessions, team events, and engagement initiatives.
- Liaise with the payroll team to ensure accurate processing of payroll changes, leave administration, and employee updates.
- Support HR reports, data analysis, and regular updates for HR Consultants and management.
- Manage client accounts and ensure smooth service delivery, providing regular recruitment and HR updates as required.
- Provide general HR and administrative support across the wider HR function, including health and safety administration.
Main Requirements for the HR Assistant:
- IPD Level 3 (or working towards) or an equivalent HR qualification.
- Previous experience in HR and recruitment administration.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and HR/recruitment systems.
- Basic understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
