Are you ready to kickstart your HR career in a dynamic fast‑paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic HR Apprentice to join our Swindon‑based team supporting both our Swindon and Dartford facilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across the full employee lifecycle from employee relations and engagement to data analysis and HR operations while working toward a Level 5 professional HR qualification.

This Apprenticeship is a 2‑year FTC.

The Role
  • Collaborate with line managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance reviews and appeals
  • Support day‑to‑day HR operations in Workday including employee changes, audits, onboarding and reward cycles
  • Help develop and consistently apply ER policies and procedures across the business
  • Assess risks in ER cases and ensure compliance with employment law and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
  • Build strong trusted relationships with stakeholders across operations, quality and support functions
  • Work with the HR Assistant and HR Manager to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Contribute to initiatives around employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and cultural transformation
  • Assist with HR projects related to organisational change, talent development and operational efficiency
  • Participate in structured learning sessions as part of your Level 5 apprenticeship
  • Engage in internal and external development opportunities including CIPD sessions
The Candidate
  • Previous experience in HR administration or assistant roles with exposure to ER casework and engagement activities
  • A genuine interest in employee relations and HR within a manufacturing setting (preferred)
  • Ability to assess risks and propose solutions in a regulated environment
  • Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency in Excel and ideally experience with Workday
  • Analytical mindset with confidence in interpreting workforce data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professionalism, discretion and emotional intelligence
  • A proactive solutions‑oriented approach to challenges
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
