Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Advisor who has either gained or is working towards an HR or payroll qualification (for example, Level 3 CIPD or CIPP). This is a full-time maternity cover, expected to end in November 2026.

Sport England is a large and vibrant organisation tasked with helping people across England live active lives, but you don’t need to be sporty or know the off-side rule to join us!

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a range of people-related matters, including payroll and benefits administration, recruitment and employee lifecycle.
  • Have a varied day-to-day and be part of a supportive and knowledgeable team.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail and knowledge of payroll processes and systems.
  • Provide advice to stakeholders across the organisation, supporting on delivering recruitment processes in a collaborative way.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for HR with either a gained or in-progress HR or payroll qualification (e.g., Level 3 CIPD or CIPP).
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of payroll processes and systems.
