Job summary

A leading HR consultancy in Greater London is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a temporary role with potential for permanence. The role involves providing expert HR support to managers across UK sites, covering compliance with employment law and supporting operational objectives. Ideal candidates have proven HR advisory experience, strong knowledge of best practices and UK employment law, and excellent interpersonal skills. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.

Qualifications

  • Proven HR advisory experience in a commercial or operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practice and UK employment law.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for managers on HR matters.
  • Provide advice on HR policies, payroll, time & attendance, investigations, and employee relations.
  • Support recruitment, training, performance reviews, salary & bonus processes.
  • Maintain HR records, analyse people metrics, and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with organisational change, engagement initiatives, and succession planning.

HR Advisor - West Drayton (Temporary / Hourly, Hybrid, Temp-to-Perm Possible)

Rate: Competitive hourly rate | Hours: 37.5 / week | Location: West Drayton (travel to Cornwall & Maidenhead sites as required)

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR team on a temporary basis, with the possibility to move into a permanent role. You will provide expert HR support to managers across our UK sites, helping deliver a positive employee experience, ensuring compliance with employment law, and supporting operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as first point of contact for managers on HR matters.
  • Provide advice on HR policies, payroll, time & attendance, investigations, and employee relations.
  • Support recruitment, training, performance reviews, salary & bonus processes.
  • Maintain HR records, analyse people metrics, and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with organisational change, engagement initiatives, and succession planning.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven HR advisory experience inophon commercial or operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practice and UK employment law.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
Working Pattern

4 days onsite, 1 day remote, core hours 9:00-17:00 or 8:30-16:30
