Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy in Armagh seeks a motivated HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will support line managers, provide employee relations advice, and assist with recruitment across business areas. A Level 5 CIPD qualification and 2+ years' HR experience in a fast-paced environment are required. This role offers hybrid working and competitive salary.

Qualifications

  • Level 5 CIPD-qualified (or working towards).
  • 2+ years' HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of NI employment law.
  • Full driving licence with flexibility to travel between sites.

  • Provide advice on employee relations and promote a positive work environment.
  • Assist with recruitment and talent attraction.
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Oversee compliance processes such as right-to-work checks.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support induction and training for new starters.
  • Maintain internal communication platforms.
  • Partner with the HR Shared Service team on payroll.

HR Advisor - Armagh - 12-Month FTC

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting for a motivated and experienced HR Advisor to join a dynamic, forward-thinking business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Armagh, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, operational HR service within the company.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support line managers in managing absence, change management, disciplinary issues, and grievances

  • Provide advice and guidance on employee relations and promote a positive working environment

  • Assist with recruitment and talent attraction across various business areas

  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and produce weekly HR reports

  • Oversee compliance processes such as right-to-work checks, mandatory training, and driver compliance

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and monthly activities in line with company values

  • Support induction and training for new starters and line managers

  • Maintain internal communication platforms and encourage open communication across teams

  • Partner with the HR Shared Service team on payroll and HR system maintenance

The Ideal Candidate

  • Level 5 CIPD-qualified (or working towards)

  • 2+ years' HR experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong knowledge of NI employment law

  • Full driving licence with flexibility to travel between sites
