HR Administrator Required - Secondary School in Oldham

Immediate Start - Applicants Must Have Previous School Experience

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join a well-established secondary school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HR professional with a background in schools or education to contribute to the efficient running of the school's HR operations.

The Role :
  • Managing HR records, including staff absences, contracts, and compliance documentation
  • Processing recruitment paperwork, including DBS checks, references, and right-to-work documents
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new staff, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are met
  • Liaising with school leadership to maintain accurate staffing records and policies
  • Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Using school HR and MIS systems to update and maintain accurate records
Requirements :
  • Previous experience working in a school or education setting is essential
  • Knowledge of HR processes, especially within an education environment
  • Experience using school management systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, or similar)
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
