Overview

Total Care Recruitment is hiring compassionate and dedicated Housing Support Workers on behalf of our client who provides residential support for young people. You will play a key role in helping young individuals lead safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting young people with emotional, social, and practical needs
  • Encouraging independence through daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
  • Assisting with personal care, medication, and care planning
  • Promoting engagement and participation in meaningful activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to multi-agency care plans
  • Working as part of a 24/7 team, including sleep-ins or waking nights
Requirements
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it
  • Experience in care or support work is desirable
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overnights
  • Basic IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
