Salary: £38,220 to £40,777 per annum
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Housing Standards Officer to join our Environmental Health Residential Team. This is a full‑time permanent position.
The Environmental Health teams are within our Housing Health and Engineering Service area and deliver a range of regulatory functions across the Council.
Being part of the Residential Team, you will cover a wide range of housing duties, including the enforcement of housing standards, HMOs licensing and investigation of harassment and illegal eviction of private tenants. You will also investigate statutory nuisance and drainage complaints from homeowners and tenants. As part of the Residential Team, you will be given the opportunity to contribute to other areas of work, such as private water supplies and empty properties.
Pendle is in Lancashire's scenic Pennines, close to the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, and Manchester.
