Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housing Sales Support Coordinator to join a large housing association on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in supporting the Resales & Staircasing team, ensuring that initial customer queries are handled with clarity, professionalism, and a customer-friendly approach.



  • Location: Hybrid, Croydon (2 days from the office, 3 days from home)

  • Job Type: Temporary till start of March 2026

  • Hourly Rate: £16.44 PAYE OR £20.79 Umbrella


Responsibilities


  • Act as the first point of contact for all customer enquiries via telephone and email, particularly those initiating a resale or staircasing process.

  • Manage team mailboxes, ensuring all communications, including instructions for resales or staircasing, are handled within the service level agreement (SLA).

  • Ensure telephone calls from both internal and external stakeholders are actively responded to and managed within SLA.

  • Maintain customer folders and sales trackers with the highest level of accuracy.

  • Assist the team with document creation, obtaining necessary documents from internal/external teams to support resales instructions, and updating trackers.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience within a customer-focused environment preferably within housing / housing resales and or shared ownership

  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.

  • Highly skilled in data management systems.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Well-organised with a proven track record in maintaining accuracy and an eye for detail.

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.

  • Experience in creating documents, reports, and files efficiently.

  • Desirable: Experience in property sales and/or Shared Ownership and understanding of the conveyancing process.
