Overview

Belmont Recruitment are working in partnership with Wrexham County Borough Council, who are seeking an experienced and adaptable Interim Housing Operations Manager to join their Housing & Assets team. This is initially a 3-6 month temporary contract working 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of DLO teams and external contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with housing standards and regulations, including Awabbs Law.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review performance, identify efficiencies, and streamline processes.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as business case development, restructures, and service transformation.
  • Provide operational resilience and responsive service delivery during organisational change.
  • Contribute to high standards of service delivery for Wrexham's contract holders.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong background in housing operations management, contract management, or repairs and maintenance services.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
