Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer for our client a government organisation in Bournemouth. The post holder will take appropriate intervention or enforcement action to deal with serious breaches of tenancy conditions including securing access for property compliance work. They will take lead on investigating reports of housing fraud and unlawful occupation of council homes, taking legal action where appropriate. They will be required to liaise with appropriate agencies and other services leading the response on serious, complex and/or time-consuming cases. This role is a temporary contract initially for 3 months with the possibility to extend. Flexibility is required to respond to challenging workloads availability to work in our office up to 5 days per week.
Full driving with business insurance and use of own car is essential for the role.
37hrs / 9:00am - 17:00pm / Monday to Friday
