  • Due to the nature of the role, you will be expected to travel to supported schemes across Greater Manchester
The role

As a Housing Officer in our Supported living scheme, you will be required to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused housing management service to Supported Housing tenants, under the guidance of the Neighbourhood and Communities Team Leader.

You’ll be expected to ensure compliance with housing policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements, including those set by the social housing regulator, housing ombudsman, and safeguarding frameworks.

The right fit
  • You have a proven experience working within the social housing sector and knowledge of issues relating to supported housing.
  • You have a resilient and professional approach to problem solving and contract dispute with customers, ensuring compliance is maintained throughout.
  • You’re competent in Microsoft Office and housing management systems such as Orchard.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
  • You’re able to manage your own workload dealing and adapting to changing priorities.
  • You must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Strong knowledge of social housing legislation including tenant satisfaction measures, regulatory standards, complaints, service charge legislation and safeguarding etc.
  • You already have or are willing to work towards housing related qualifications.
  • A full UK driving license with access to a vehicle is essential.
