As a Housing Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and managing complex cases.

What will you be doing as a Housing Officer?

• Engaging with residents and providing them with assistance and guidance on housing matters.
• Managing a caseload of vulnerable people, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed effectively.
• Supporting residents with tenancy changes, including transfers and terminations.
• Collaborating with external agencies, such as local authorities and support services, to provide holistic support to our residents.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with GDPR regulations.
• Demonstrating excellent communication skills to engage and empathise with stakeholders at all levels.

What are we looking for?

• Previous customer service experience, preferably within a housing context.
• The ability to manage complex cases and work with vulnerable individuals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Resilience and the ability to adapt to change positively.
• A flexible approach to work and a willingness to travel when needed.
• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
