A notable recruitment agency is seeking a Housing Management Lawyer in the United Kingdom to provide legal support for housing operations. Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Not-for-Profit Housing Provider in their search for an interim Housing Management Lawyer to cover a period of maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting housing operations through high-quality legal advice and representation, while working alongside an established in-house legal team.
In this varied role, you will manage your own caseload, with a primary focus on disrepair claims. You will also provide advice and litigation support across the full range of housing management issues, including possessions, anti-social behaviour, income management and leasehold matters. The role will see you drafting pleadings, witness statements and other legal documents, working closely with counsel and external partners, and helping to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory and compliance obligations.
You will also contribute to the wider team by providing training on housing management law where required, maintaining legal templates and procedures, and supporting the Head of Legal with reporting and governance. This is a role at the heart of the business, offering the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly impact service delivery and resident outcomes.
