Job summary

A not-for-profit care provider in Swindon is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards at Grevill House Care Home. Overview

Housekeeper
Location: Grevill House Care Home, Charlton Kings, GL52 6YL. Pay Rate: £12.31 (Mon-Fri), £13.31 (Sat-Sun). Contracted Hours: 18 Hours per week. Shift Pattern: TBC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home, ensuring every room and living space is clean, tidy and well maintained at all times.
• Champion hygiene and infection control within the home, using specialised equipment and materials to create a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment for residents, their friends and families.
• Support residents with simple cleaning and laundry tasks as part of daily routines where appropriate.

About You

You’ll be comfortable in an elderly care setting and able to relate to residents in a caring and sensitive manner. Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial, but training is provided if needed. Key qualities include pride in your work, good communication, teamwork, a willingness to learn and strive to excel in delivering high-quality care for residents.
