A regional health service provider based in Pontyclun is looking for a part-time Housekeeping Assistant to support their Facilities team. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, providing patient services, and ensuring compliance with NHS standards. Candidates should have experience in cleaning duties, good communication skills, and be able to work well in a team. This position offers a flexible working pattern with competitive pay and benefits.
We have a variety of part‑time hours available. The roles will support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Housekeeping and Catering services to the National Standards for these services in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and 9 and Organisational Standards. To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices; and helping to maintain open, effective communication.

This doesn’t mean essential; while the candidate doesn’t need to have skills in Welsh, we’ll consider it an advantage when short‑listing and selecting candidates. It’s not ‘fluency’, just speaking & listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
