Overview

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning are delivered in the home to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with the cleaning schedule, maintaining the highest standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Ensure all health and safety requirements are met and that infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times.
• Actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual, respects their dignity and communication differences.
• Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Maintain a passion for care and put the needs of residents first.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
• As a Housekeeper at Langdon House Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service within the home.
