A leading not-for-profit care provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to manage cleaning programs and supervise staff at their Buckler’s Lodge location. Responsibilities

  • Allocate cleaning programmes for domestic assistants and monitor quality.
  • Control the budget for cleaning materials and minimize wastage.
  • Participate in cleaning duties as needed.
  • Supervise and induct designated staff as required.

Skills

Extensive experience of domestic care work
Knowledge and experience of COSHH regulations

Education

As a Housekeeper, you will
  • Allocate cleaning programmes for each domestic assistant and monitor the quality and thoroughness of the work.
  • Control an allocated budget for the purchase of cleaning materials and minimise wastage.
  • Take an active part in cleaning and share in the cleaning duties.
  • Carry out supervision and induction of designated staff as required.
  • Participate in training and support meetings as required.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures within the Home and the Trust.

  • Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) Level 2 in Housekeeping, Hospitality and Cleaning or equivalent
