Housekeeper – Part time, term time only

Fixed Term Contract (9-12 months)

20 hours per week (9am - 1pm, Monday – Friday)

£11,126 per annum

Role Overview

Treloar’s are currently looking to recruit a temporary Housekeeper to work on our onsite College residential house. The Housekeeper will work under the direction of the House Manager and Senior Housekeepers to ensure the day‑to‑day tidiness/cleanliness of the house, including students’ bedrooms and the communal areas. They will also be responsible for managing, ordering and distributing laundry, linen, stores and key stock items, as well as assisting with students’ laundry.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the residential house, including students’ bedrooms and communal areas.
  • Manage, order and distribute laundry, linen, stores and key stock items.
  • Assist students with laundry.
  • Work independently and prioritise workload.
Qualifications
  • Good general level of education.
  • Proficiency in computing.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels, including with students and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise own workload.
  • Previous experience working in a caring environment is beneficial.
Hours

20 hours per week, term‑time only. A degree of flexibility in the rota at the beginning and end of terms.
