Hourly Paid Lecturer - Travel and Tourism

Location: Walthamstow, Greater London

Salary: £24.09 - £37.69 per hour inclusive of holiday pay

Contract: Fixed term contract

Responsibilities
  • Deliver up to Level 3 Travel and Tourism teaching, supporting students throughout their learning journey and providing a high quality learning experience.
  • Plan, prepare, assess and evaluate learning activities in line with the college curriculum framework and national qualifications.
  • Use appropriate teaching methods, technology and assessment to engage and motivate learners.
  • Support students with pastoral care, career advice and de‑briefing.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, progress and assessment records.
  • Participate in college teaching development activities, professional learning and staff meetings.
Qualifications
  • Experience delivering Level 3 Travel and Tourism and significant experience within a relevant professional industry.
  • Strong industry knowledge and a passion for the travel and tourism sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and assessment skills.
