A personal support service in Stonesfield is seeking caring individuals to assist a client with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in daily living activities. Responsibilities include personal care, healthcare, and social support. Candidates should be confident drivers and possess good communication and organizational skills. Full training is provided, making this role suitable for those without care experience. Competitive pay at £17 per hour and flexibility in working hours are offered.

Our client is initially a shy individual but comes out of his shell over time. He will require support with all aspects of daily living from personal care to social support. He has a diagnosis of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. As a result, he is a full-time powered wheelchair user. He lives at a family home so you must feel comfortable to be around other people and be comfortable with some house rules.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in somebody elses life. You will assist our client in all aspects of daily life, therefore being able to listen and follow instructions from the client is essential. Hours Saturday 8am-10pm (temporary hours)
Out of term time (8am-10pm , 8pm-10am ) various shifts available, flexibility is required
