Job description

We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join the team at Ballathie House Hotel. Full-time and part-time applicants will be considered. Part-time applicants must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week. The reception department operates 7 days a week on a shift pattern therefore you must be available to work evenings and weekends. Shifts are from 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm.

About the Role

A few of the duties you will undertake in this varied role include welcoming our guests, dealing with telephone enquiries and reservations, preparing invoices and taking payments from our guests, conducting end of shift/day banking.

About You

We are seeking a well presented, enthusiastic customer focused person with an outgoing friendly personality. A desire to deliver a high standard of customer service is essential, along with good communication skills. We would like you work with a high attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to stay calm under pressure. Previous hotel reception experience would be preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
